Bruce is a member of the Greater Merced Chamber of Commerce and served as its chairperson for one year. He is the secretary for the Playhouse Merced Board of Directors and is very involved with the Merced Ahead steering committee. He values community service a great deal and believes people should return something to their hometown.

Bruce and Bev enjoy European travel, and they have used backpacks to travel in Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and the Czech Republic. Bev especially enjoys visiting Paris.

Bruce has worked for churches from Minnesota to Texas, and he moved to Merced after completing a 15-year ministry in Lodi, California.  He has a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology.

Bev is a speech pathologist working for Merced County Office of Education. She loves to read spy thrillers, and enjoys young children.  The Logues have a son, a daughter, and seven grandchildren.
